Reza Jafari, head of the Afghan Peace Dialogue, held a meeting in Brussels with the European External Action Service and the European Parliament to introduce his organization’s charter and agenda. The meeting addressed the challenges posed by the Taliban and the humanitarian emergency in Afghanistan.

Mr. Jafari presented Afghan Peace Dialogue's achievements and requested EU support for intra-Afghan peace negotiations. Academics, journalists, and human rights advocates also participated. The EU welcomed the discussions and called for greater coordination to support Afghanistan.
